Starch Europe Welcomes Sedamyl as a New Member

Brussels, Belgium 13 January 2020 - Starch Europe, the trade association representing the European starch industry, today announced the addition of the Sedamyl Group as a new member.

“We are delighted to welcome Sedamyl to the Starch Europe family”, said Jamie Fortescue, Managing Director of Starch Europe. “Starch Europe will always strive to represent the full breadth of EU Starch Producers, and now counts more than 95% of the industry as members. The continued growth of our membership is all the more important as the EU welcomes a new European Commission with an ambitious Green agenda to which the starch industry looks forward to contributing.“

Sedamyl Group, is an established European manufacturer of starches, sweeteners, proteins and alcohol, with over 300 employees, and plants in both Italy and the UK.
