Brussels, Belgium 1 July 2022 - Starch Europe, the trade association representing the European starch industry, today announced the addition of the Sacchetto SpA as a new member. 

“We are delighted to welcome Sacchetto to the Starch Europe family”, said Jamie Fortescue, Managing Director of Starch Europe. “Starch Europe continuously strives to represent the full breadth of EU starch producers, and already counts over 95% of the industry as members. In this period of both concerns and causes for optimism, it is all the more important to continue to grow our membership, to better stand together to tackle the many challenges ahead.”

An established European manufacturer of starches, proteins and alcohol, based in Italy,  Sacchetto SpA is a family-owned company in operation for more than 70 years.
